Mark says… This is a follow up to my 2016 piece ‘Hey You Guuuys!’.I wanted to create a scene that could be enjoyed for its beauty as well as then being embraced for the links to the movie. From watching the film, it was that moment that overlooked the iconic ‘Cannon Beach’ that jumped out at me. The group of bikes that the gang set out on were superb, like in ‘E.T’ and I saw potential to feature these in a similar way to ‘I’ll Be Right Here’, another piece that came out in 2016 as part of my ‘Lost in Hollywood’ collection. You know I love to get an iconic vehicle into my work where possible and the Jeep Cherokee that the Fratelli gang used was the perfect opportunity. Again, I didn’t want it to dominate but to simply allow me to position key references on and around it, I love how it has turned out!
