This earthenware bowl with an insect design is by ceramicist Mary Johnson.

Celebrating wildlife as found in gardens, allotments and other odd corners this traditional slipware decorated bowl has been hand thrown on a wheel using red clay.
All pieces are individually made by Mary and as such each may vary slightly in size, colour and glazing. This is an attribute of handmade ceramics making each piece utterly unique.
